PLANT MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE MANAGER - CENTRAL WALES - PERMANENT - £39,000 - £44,000 + BONUS (up to £10k)ARM are working with a well-known building materials company who have a global reach. We are currently recruiting for a Plant Maintenance Manager to join their team based in the Central Wales area on a permanent basis. About You:* You will be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance professional, * Your experience will include Mechanical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems within a plant or manufacturing environment. * You will need to drive and have access to your own vehicle for this role. * You will have or be looking for a position within a management role. * You will have a positive, can do attitude and will be unphased with challenges that may occur, as this steadfastness and interest in doing a good job in the right manner. * Ideally your experience will come from a heavy plant, quarry or similar, but this is not essential. What you will be doing:This position will is an onsite position working both inside and outside to keep the plan operational. You will have a small team of fitters working with you, as well as working with contractors onsite also. This role is a key role that ensures the success of the plant, but keeping proactive plans for maintenance and also reacting to breakdown. The plant operates 7 days a week and the team provide cover day and night. You will be responsible to oversee team coverage also. You role will also see you with some budgetary responsibility and H&S / legal compliance. This position is based in Central Wales. Commutable towns are Hereford, Worcester, Ludlow, Hay-on-Wye, Newtown and Presteigne. It is a full-time position working typically Monday to Friday (48 hours per week contracted). There is some flexibility of working arrangements. What you can expect in return:The salary for this position is between £39,000 - £44,000 and will be dependent on experience and suitability for the role. There may be some scope to exceed this for an exceptional candidate. There is a bonus scheme in operation which account for up to £10,000 per year and is paid on a weekly basis for this plant. The company also offers a further bonus scheme that pays roughly 2% of salary on an annual basis. Other benefits include generous pension scheme and holiday allowances. There is also a real chance of progression within the organisation.We can only consider those eligible to work in the UK on a permanent basis for this role.
