The opportunity

As the Company Accountant, you’ll be managing the financial health of the company, ensuring everything from budgeting and forecasting to compliance is running like clockwork. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and support the company’s global growth while keeping financial operations in top shape. Your day to day will look like:

  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Managing treasury and foreign currency functions
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC, Companies House, ONS, and VOA
  • Preparing monthly reports and year-end accounts
  • Handling sales ledger, purchase ledger, and invoices
  • Managing payroll and assisting with international payrolls
  • Preparing cash flow forecasts and financial insights for leadership
  • Ensuring pension regulator compliance
  • Helping with ad-hoc financial tasks, including R&D claims

The Requirements

  • AAT Qualified (or 5+ years experience in a similar role)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills (you’re a pro with spreadsheets)
  • Experience with Xero or QuickBooks Online
  • Solid financial planning experience (short, medium, and long-term)
