MERJE are delighted to be supporting a regional Building Society in their search for a Treasury & Regulatory Reporting Accountant.

This role is offered on an 18 month FTC to cover the current placeholder who is being seconded on a long term project.

The Treasury Reporting Accountant is responsible for preparing Treasury ALM reporting for ALCo and for ensuring regulatory returns are completed in accordance with the appropriate accounting, statutory and regulatory requirements.

You will undertake liquidity, funding and derivative dealing and forecasting on behalf of the Society in line with the policies laid out in the Board's Financial Risk Management Policy ("FRMP").

Responsible for also preparing Regulatory Returns and assist in the production of monthly Management Accounts and key performance MI, whilst maintaining robust systems and controls.

You will ensure the regulatory software (currently ALMIS) is updated on a monthly basis.

Hybrid working options are available with an expectation to travel to the Lancashire based offices to  work on site when required.

Salary is £55-80,000 DOE
