Join a small tax team within a leading accountancy practice, based in Preston. The role is operating across a Personal Tax client portfolio in the Northwest, predominantly across the Preston / Lancashire area. The work is technically varied including Compliance / Rental properties / Child Benefit / Capital Gains and Self Assessment. (The high level Tax Planning is already covered by the Directors.)

We are looking for a new team member with Personal Tax experience who will relish and enjoy the opportunities to build relationships with a diverse range of clients and develop teams to support them. The role on offer can incorporate:

- Personal Tax, Tax Adviser, Tax Senior or

- Tax plus Accounting hybrid role, or

- Personal and Corporation Tax, dependent upon the skills that you bring.

Flexible Hours: Full & Part Time up to 37 hours per week.

Hybrid option after probation period. (2 days / 3 days)

We have empowered flexible working, therefore full or part time hours are available, and after probation, 1 x day a week hybrid working.

What your days will look like:

• You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients and working as part of a small team to deliver the firm’s personal tax services.• You will have a key role in shaping your portfolio and building strong lasting relationships. • You will help solve the tax issues of individuals and business owners and manage self-assessment queries.• You will be able to put into practice your tax technical skills with some great clients.

• There will also be opportunities to develop deeper knowledge in particular areas of interest.• The role will be both varied and challenging and will provide significant opportunities to develop your career.

We are looking for a self starter with hands on experience within personal tax. If you have leadership capabilities, there is opportunity to manage a small team. The Role is for you if:• You have hands on Personal Tax experience.
