If you're a passionate chef who is enthusiastic about creating dishes using locally sourced fresh ingredients, looking for a role that offers you the freedom to put your own stamp on the menu? As a Chef de Partie, you will carry out a variety of duties to support the team in the day to day running of the restaurant kitchen, covering all sections whilst considering operational improvements on a day to day basis. You will be ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are developed and maintained in a two AA Rosette restaurant.

Chef de Partie Ideal Profile

  • Holder of a Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
  • Previous experience in a similar establishment
  • Proven experience within a fresh food restaurant
  • Exceptional Customer service skills with a strong customer focus
  • Skilled in planning, time management and organisation
  • Strong team working ethic, ability to motivate and support the team
  • Operationally minded, capable of implementing Continuous Improvement processes
  • Attention to detail
  • HACCP knowledge and application


Chef de Partie Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in providing the highest standard of cooking and service
  • Ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are developed and maintained in our two AA Rosette restaurant
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes using fresh, local ingredients
  • Providing your input with regards to developing dishes and implementing menu changes.
  • Monitoring portion and waste control
  • Ensuring the Health, Safety and Welfare of all employees, customers and guests and visitors whilst on company premises as per the company Health and Safety Policy
  • Responsible for your own timesheet, ensuring it is completed and submitted to your line manager
  • Working in a safe manner with regards to yourself, colleagues, customers and the general public
  • Ensuring the quality of food production and presentation meets company standards at all times
