Business Development Executive

I am looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic and driven Business Development Executive to join a commercial interior kit-out company based in Preston.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Make daily outbound phone calls to follow up on face-to-face visits made.
- Manage accounts by keeping in touch with past customers through phone and email to identify new requirements.
- Build and maintain a database of architects, actively targeting them to get products specified.
- Search the press and LinkedIn daily for potential opportunities, connecting and building relationships with prospects.
- Use in house system to follow up on leads weekly to identify target projects in sales areas.
- Send recorded videos to prospects, introducing them to our website and offerings.
- Attend networking conferences monthly to exhibit and converse with prospects.
- Conduct weekly face-to-face visits to prospective customers, distributing literature and discussing their refurbishment plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with prospective clients.
- Proven ability to build rapport and form business relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with a disciplined approach.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
