EYFS Teaching Assistant - Preston:
Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant who specialises in early years to join a school near to Preston. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible.
The Role:
- Providing specific support and intervention for children across all curriculum areas
- Leading groups in activities for core curriculum areas such as phonics, reading, writing and maths
- Working with individuals on learning and development activities
- Preparing learning resources and activities within the setting
- Carrying out assessments and recording information
- Assisting in the daily routines for the children
Position Details:
- Position: EYFS TA
- Location: Preston
- Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Previous experience working with early years in a school setting
- Relevant qualification in Early Years
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references
