PMLD Teaching Assistant - Preston:
Prospero teaching are looking for experienced teaching assistants or support workers to join a SEN school near to Preston. You will be supporting children with complex learning and medical needs. This role is a full-time, long-term position to start as soon as possible.
Although experience working with special needs in a school is preferred, any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs is what actually matters in this role to care and nurture for individuals. This role requires personal care.
Position Details:
- Location: Preston
- Position: PMLD Teaching Assistant
- Type of Work: Temporary
- Full time/Part time: Full time only
- Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm, Mon-Fri
- Minimum Rate of Pay: £90 per day, depending on experience
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: Ongoing, Long-Term
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional references
