Location: UK (Nationwide Travel Required) - Main Office in Lancashire

About the Role:Our client is seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Electrician/Site Manager to join its fast-growing renewable energy team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to step into a senior role within a company delivering a high volume of commercial and domestic Solar PV installations annually.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage teams of electricians and roof panel installers, as well as subcontractor Solar PV installation companies.

  • Oversee and deliver commercial and domestic Solar PV installations to the highest standards.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality expectations.

  • Manage health & safety compliance across all sites.

  • Provide technical guidance on system designs and purchasing decisions.

  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and finalize installations prior to handover.

  • Support recruitment, training, and development of the electrical team.

  • Liaise with the office team to coordinate logistics and materials.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and continuously improve processes.

  • Occasionally provide hands-on support to meet deadlines.

Requirements:Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years as a NICEIC or NAPIT registered electrician.

  • MCS-accredited training and certification in Solar PV installation and maintenance.

  • Proven experience managing Solar PV installations across industrial, commercial, and domestic sites.

  • Track record of leading electrical teams and delivering profitable projects.

  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining popular Solar PV brands (e.g., SolarEdge).

  • Level 3 NVQ, HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering; AM2 and Inspection & Testing qualifications.

  • Strong IT skills for web monitoring of PV and battery systems.

  • Valid UK driving license.

Desirable Skills:

  • ECS Card and additional safety certifications (e.g., working at heights, confined spaces).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.

  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently or as part of a team.
