Financial Planning Manager

Based: Preston area

Package: up to £65k + holidays + pension + discount scheme + gym discount + medicash

My client is a fantastic, forward-thinking rapidly expanding Private Equity backed business with ambitious goals for growth over the next 2-3 years. With lots of change planned over the next 12 months, this is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the team in a role that you can really create for your own whilst working with an impressive FD, CFO, Head of FP&A and wider finance team. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, has their own ideas and wants to be part of an exciting journey whilst gaining some excellent exposure for themselves as they continue to expand throughout the UK

Role:

  • Developing annual and strategic plans to support long-term decision making
  • Utilising BI and automation tools to deliver insightful analysis to drive commercial value across the business
  • Business Partnering with Managers and Management Accounts team to develop and build financial models for sites, generating site budgets & P&Ls
  • Collaborating with finance & operations to develop budgets
  • Identifying financial reporting requirements, developing both existing and new PowerBI reports
  • Building strong relationships across the business with finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Working with the Head of FP&A to develop 3 year strategic model

Experience:

  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA qualified
  • Experience in financial modelling and data analysis essential
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
  • Ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools (ideally PowerBI)
