Communicate has collaborated with an listed multi-site business in their search for a Head of Group Reporting. The firm is well established with international operations and an ever-expanding product offering.

The role will report into the Group Finance Director and hold responsibility for group accounting, statutory reporting and revenue recognition within the business. You will lead your own team across this entire process. Ideally, you will have demonstrated clear management capabilities within the group reporting function in past roles.

This position is ideal for any individual with a clear drive and presents a distinct opportunity for career progression in a business with a history of internal development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Management and ownership of the group accounts and reporting
  • Representing a point of contact for external auditors
  • Ensuring all deliverables are prepared on time and to the highest standard
  • Identify new filing and audit requirements in advance and prepare to meet said requirements
  • Early involvement in any acquisitions to ensure filing obligations are met
  • Developing cost saving proposals in line with budgeting goals
  • Working closely with the in-house tax department

Requirements for the role:

  • ACA/CIMA Qualifications with extensive years PQE
  • Previous experience working within a reporting function, ideally as a reporting manager or head of reporting
  • Leadership qualities
  • Clear communication skills
