An exciting opportunity has arisen for a finance professional to lead a newly created Lease Centre of Excellence (CoE) within a globally renowned organization. This high-impact role is ideal for an individual with deep expertise in IFRS 16 and a strong background in financial control, governance, and process optimisation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading the transition of lease control activities into the Lease CoE, ensuring seamless integration and process delivery.
  • Collaborating with senior stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing efficiency and resilience across financial operations.
  • Assessing and improving internal controls related to lease management and compliance.
  • Managing a high-performing Lease CoE team to deliver on key objectives aligned with the wider financial control strategy.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and presenting accurate reporting to a variety of stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Expertise in IFRS 16 Leases, with a proven track record as a subject matter expert.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controls and corporate governance, ideally with exposure to UK SOX policies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP (experience with Tagetik for IFRS 16 is desirable).
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
