We are seeking a talented commercial insurance account handler to join a leading independent insurance brokerage in Preston.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a crucial role in managing and developing client relationships, providing expert advice, and delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities-

  • Account handle an existing book of commercial clients supporting the Account Executives
  • Efficiently manage MTA’s and renewals to maintain strong client relationships and maximise retention
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and contribute to the team's overall success.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing clients, maximising revenue potential.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and regulatory changes to enhance your knowledge and skills.

 What you'll offer-

  • With strong technical skills and ideally 2-3 years of commercial experience ideally in a broker environment.
  • Experience in Acturis (desirable, however, training can be provided)
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organised with excellent time management skills

 Requirements-

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English and Maths
  • Experience in a broad range of commercial insurance.
  • Working towards Cert CII.
  • Proven experience in handling Commercial classes of business.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Acturis.
