A global Aerospace and Defence organisation are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Export Control Manager to lead and manage the company's export compliance program.
Key Accountabilities - Export Control Manager
+ Being the 'go to' person for your respective programmes, understanding key programme deliverables and export licensing requirements
+ Making sense of the export control and licensing challenges, establishing the facts and putting in place solutions that enables timely delivery and protects our future business, produce, implement, maintain and regularly review the Export Control and Licensing Management Plans
+ Supporting the implementation and management of the export control governance including, risk identification and management, audit and assurance and timely investigation and reporting
+ Growing and sustaining productive relationships with a broad stakeholder group, which includes project teams, customers, suppliers and national licensing authorities
+ Supporting corporate/internal and external audits, including closure of actions where appropriate
Skills and knowledge required - Export Control Manager
+ Degree qualified
+ UK and US (ITAR/ EAR) Export Control Regulatory experience
+ Ability to manage complex issues in a fast pace environment and to influence a common team objective and drive towards its delivery
+ The ability to work in high level of self-motivation, proactivity and flexibility, with the ability to operate independently of direct management and to build effective stakeholder relationships internally and externally
