We are looking for a Qualification, Certification & Verification Engineer, to take on the tasks of developing and certifying advanced aircraft systems. You will be involved qualification requirements, managing system problem reports, generating test requirements for rig and flight tests, and supporting flight trials.

Day to Day you will be -

  • Production of DASS qualification requirements and clearance documentation for development and production aircraft
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and suppliers in support of requirements capture and aircraft clearance
  • Management of System Problem Reporting investigations across all DASS activities
  • Generation of test requirements for both rig and flight testing
  • Support DASS related flight trials activities as required
  • Opportunity to get involved in wider DASS subsystem activities when required
  • Opportunity to develop Safety experience & develop DASS safety assessments

Key Experience we are looking for -

  • A good understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle
  • Confident and proactive, willing to take personal responsibility for the delivery of their own work, both on time and to a high standard
  • Ability to engage the stakeholder community at various levels including our internal and external customers and suppliers
  • Ability to communicate complicated technical information effectively, both verbally and in writing, to management and peers
  • A good understanding of requirements capture
