We are partnered with a leading roofing contractor based near Preston. Our client operates in the commercial, public and industrial sector across the North West. They offer a range of cladding, roofing and complementary services, including panel system installation, fascia and soffit work, installation of roof-lights. With a great team culture that thrives on collaboration and success they have the opportunity to add an experienced Estimator to their commercial division with a salary circa 40,000.
Estimator Position Benefits
- Competitive Salary (D.O.E) 35,000 - 45,000

Estimator Position Overview
- Estimator based near Preston, North West
- Manage the incoming tenders into the business
- Complete site surveys and inspections to complete tender packages
- Price both the company generated enquiries as well as incoming tenders
- Prioritise with the Sales team
- Work to agreed objectives as set out in the company business / sales plan
- Submit tender submissions at agreed margins with the timescales set out within the tender documents
- Produce a weekly report to include value, %, market, material of submissions including ongoing conversion rates to the MD
- Work to agreed sales objectives
Estimator Position Requirements
- Roof estimating experience is essential
- Experience working with sub-contractors
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as an Estimator
- Team player and ambitious
- Full driving licence
- Strong IT Skills
