A prestigious and large multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to join their team in Preston.
The successful CDM Advisor will work within a dedicated team of six professionals, providing comprehensive health and safety and CDM advisory services across a variety of projects.
The successful CDM Advisor will
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver expert CDM advisory services, ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
- Work on a diverse range of projects, from small-scale residential developments to large commercial ventures.
- Engage with clients, designers, and contractors to provide expert advice on health and safety risk management.
- Manage the pre-construction phase, including the preparation of pre-construction information and design risk assessments.
- Lead CDM workshops and contribute to the development of design safety strategies.
To be considered for the role of CDM Advisor, candidates should have
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment.
- A strong background in construction design and management, with specific experience in delivering CDM advisory services.
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Ideally hold a membership in a relevant professional body, such as IOSH or APS.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
