Role: 3rd Line IT TechnicianLocation: PrestonSalary: £45,000

My client looking for a versatile IT professional who is comfortable handling a wide range of support tasks, from 1st to 3rd line.

Key Responsibilities:* Server Builds & Migrations: Manage and execute server installations and migrations.* Networking Duties: Perform networking tasks, including LAN/VLAN setup and management.* Network Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.* System Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.* Support Tickets & Requests: Respond to IT support tickets and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.* Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular system updates, backups, and apply security patches.* Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimise downtime.* User Account Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with company policies.

Experience in:3rd Line Support, Networking, Windows Server, Server Builds & Migrations, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN , VLAN.
