You’ll be handling a diverse caseload of residential property transactions, providing top-tier legal service while benefiting from a collaborative and supportive environment.The Role:As a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, you will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion, ensuring a smooth process for clients. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing clear, expert legal advice to clients, maintaining strong communication throughout transactions.
  • Managing a varied caseload of sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and leasehold transactions efficiently and effectively.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and legal documents with precision.
  • Identifying and resolving complex legal issues, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Working to strict deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaising with solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, and local authorities to facilitate transactions.
  • Ensuring full compliance with SRA regulations and industry best practices.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, supporting their professional development.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, referrers, and stakeholders.
  • Utilizing modern conveyancing technology to improve efficiency and client experience.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years’ PQE in residential conveyancing, with experience handling a broad range of property transactions.
  • Strong understanding of property law, leaseholds, and complex title issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Client-focused approach, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with case management systems (experience with ProClaim or Redbrick is a plus).
  • Experience with investor purchases, buy-to-let portfolios, and separately represented lenders is desirable.
  • A commercially aware mindset with an interest in business development and networking.
