Pastoral Support Officer - Preston:

Prospero teaching are looking for a pastoral support officer to work in an alternative provision near to Preston. You must be able to drive for this role to support pupils and liaise with parents.

The Role:

  • Responding to queries from a wide range of people in an efficient and courteous manner
  • Providing information and support to pupils and their parents/carers
  • Fully complying to safeguarding policies and procedures

  • Hours: 8:20am-3:20pm
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £100 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Previous experience within a similar role

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references
