Project Administration Assistant required. Our client has over 30 years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing a huge range of high-quality diesel-powered generators, from 6.8kVA to 1250kVA. This is for a range of projects including Data Centres, Sports Stadiums and high end domestic/ Social housing. They are now looking for a Project Administration Assistant in the Preston office due to the growth of the business. This position is suitable for a Service Engineer looking for a more senior, office-based job, someone with a QS background, a graduate trainee with an interest in project management or someone with prior Project experience in the diesel generator sector.

Successful candidates will assist the Project manager in the Installations department supporting and assisting the engineering team with all their electrical installations and repairs. This will involve the administration of the full commercial project management aspects of a turn key installation.

Project Administration Assistant Position Overview
  • Liaising with suppliers and customers under the supervision of the Project Manager with regards to matters such as delivery dates
  • Providing risk assessments and method statements
  • Ensuring financial controls and records are in place with regards to obtaining orders for any additional works
  • Invoicing and customer payments
  • Ordering materials to enable engineers to complete the works on site
  • Working with the operations team to secure engineering resources to carry out site works etc.
Project Administration Assistant Position Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in the diesel generator industry.
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Good communicational skills
Project Administration Assistant Position Remuneration
  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
  • Working hours: 8- 5pm
  • Overtime available
