Location: Preston, Lancashire PR2 6HT
Contract Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday, Part-time also considered

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join the community neuro team based in Preston. This is community-based role, offering the opportunity to provide high-quality care to patients with complex neurological conditions.
As a key member of the rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy interventions in the following areas:
- Stroke and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
- Complex Neurological Conditions
- Rehabilitation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for patients with neurological and rehabilitation needs.
- Work autonomously within the community, traveling to different locations to deliver care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for your patients.
Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist.
- Experience in Community Rehab or Stroke/Neuro caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Car driver
