The position is for a Senior Occupational Therapist in Adults Social Care, based in Preston, with a Monday to Friday schedule from 9am to 5pm.
This is a locum role for an initial 3-month contract, offering a salary of £30 per hour.
The therapist will focus on adaptations, moving and handling, and specialist seating, conducting home visits and assessments.
Candidates must possess a Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification, along with HCPC registration.
Relevant experience in a physical/community setting, particularly in the assessment and provision of specialist equipment and adaptations, is required.

Our Local Authority Client are recruiting a locum Senior Occupational Therapist for their Adult Social Care Team, working within adaptations, moving and handling, specialist seating.

You'll be responsible for undertaking home visits and assessments to identify equipment and adaptations within the home to reduce risks and increase independence for people in need of support.

Requirements:

Must have at least Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy or equivalent and have HCPC registration.
Experience of working in a physical /community setting, and assessment & provision of specialist equipment and adaptations
