Hire Co-ordinator- Preston PR3- Office Based- £25-£28k doe- PermanentOur client is a Private Equity backed business headquartered in Preston, PR3 0PH. They are professional, agile, fast-paced and with a goal to be the go-to resource for all needs in their sector, covering everything from initial supply and installation to thorough maintenance and a wide range of spare parts.Axon Moore is supporting our client in looking for a Hire Coordinator to join our busy hire and transport department. This role involves daily administration of the department including equipment movements, engineer and driver organisation, as well as processing customer / supplier queries and orders. The role is in a very fast paced environment where the goalposts can change quickly so require a candidate who can multitask, be flexible, a team player, and prioritise well. Please see the below job details:Responsibilities/Ownership· Process all hire job reports from engineers and drivers working on site or in a company depot, owning this administration process· Undertake monthly work in progress updates liaising with accounts to ensure all jobs are closed off correctly and in a timely manner· Receive incoming hire enquires from customers as well as responding to general customer enquiries· Process received orders accordingly. This includes organising equipment and transport, identifying any shortfalls· Obtain cross hire equipment quotes and place orders as required· Manage equipment updates including but not limited to on/off hires, movements, swaps· Assist with planning and organising of deliveries and collections using own or hired in transport. Daily transport administration will also be required· Assist hands on with getting equipment out ready for upcoming deliveries or receiving equipment returns during busy periods. This may be for our own drivers or for customers who collect & return themselves· Control the fuel management process internally and externally, including planning, ordering, monitoring, and stock taking· Assist in planning depot engineers work schedule to ensure maximum efficiency of labour and equipment to fulfil all upcoming orders, whilst maximising capability to also fulfil reactive call outs· Identifying and ordering of parts where required· Organisation and undertaking of equipment stock takes· Liaise with accounts team to resolve invoice queries and other issues· Assist in the creation and preparation of reports as requested by line manager· Assist with the creation and undertaking of regular hire meeting· Develop and maintain knowledge of all hire equipment especially generator control panels· Assist in any other duties as requested by line manager· Support and communicate with all other departments and depots as required· Be part of the company ‘on call’ team, taking out of hours phone calls on a rota, dispatching engineers and drivers when requiredSkills / Experience· Hire industry (Desirable)· Engineer and Driver job planning (Desirable)· Attention to detail (Essential)· Flexible and adaptable team player (Essential)· A motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritise your work load and multitask (Essential)· GCSE’s Maths and English (Essential)Job Type: Full-timePay: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per yearBenefits:
