Responsibilities:As a Recruitment Compliance Officer for our School Facilities team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all candidates placed in educational settings meet the necessary compliance standards. Your responsibilities will include: Right to Work Checks: Conducting comprehensive right to work checks for all candidates to ensure they have the legal authorisation to work in the country. Reference Checks: Verifying and evaluating candidate references to ensure their suitability for the positions they are being considered for. DBS Checks: Managing the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks process, ensuring all candidates have undergone the necessary background checks. Policy Adherence: Ensuring that all recruitment processes align with relevant education regulations, safeguarding policies, and compliance standards. Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all compliance checks, making sure they are readily accessible for audit purposes. Collaboration: Working closely with the School Facilities team, HR, and other stakeholders to provide guidance on compliance matters.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar compliance-focused role within the education or recruitment sector is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of right to work checks, reference checks and DBS checks is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all compliance-related matters.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with candidates and internal stakeholders.
