Your new companyThis is an Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school located in the Preston area that Hays proudly work with and they are looking to secure a Year 3 Teacher to start after the Easter break. This school places a high emphasis on pushing pupils to reach their potential, and they are now looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher that sets high expectations for their pupils. There is a strong support network within the staff and there has always been positive feedback from staff that Hays have placed here previously. Your new roleAs part of your role as a class teacher, you will take on full responsibilities for this class. These responsibilities will include preparing and planning fun and engaging lessons to push your pupils to the best of their ability. You should be able to build relationships quickly and easily, as well as posessing strong behaviour management skills. It is important that in this role you will mark and assess pupils' work, recording their development, progress, and attainment, both at school and elsewhere with this being communicated back to parents. You will have the support from an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant as well as a support staff network within the school. You will want to strive for academic growth for the children in your class and feel confident in tailoring material to suit the ability and learning style of individual pupils.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status. You need to be a good team player, have good time management and behaviour management skills.
