Your new companyWith an OFSTED rating of 'Good', this school is looking to appoint a temporary position that will cover for maternity leave in the Year 6 class. The Year 6 class is well-behaved with no major SEN concerns and only 28 pupils with a diverse range of different backgrounds. The school places a big emphasis on staff wellbeing and development and an experienced Teaching Assistant will be on hand to assist with the class if or when needed.Your new roleAs this will be a full-time role, you will be responsible for all lesson planning and delivering and will be required to mark and assess work where required. You will be required to plan and deliver the lessons in line with the English national curriculum. The head teacher is looking for a class Teacher who is confident within a classroom, and able to hit the ground running, leading from the front and working collaboratively as a key part of the team.What you'll need to succeedThe successful applicant will be an experienced teacher with recent experience within primary education as working knowledge of Year 6 or KS2 will prove beneficial. Subject leadership is desired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
