Exciting Product Manager opportunity for an experienced Product Specialist for our client a mortgage retailer with ambitious and exciting plans to build its product offering, customer base and brand awareness. This role will be pivotal to the business achieving its growth ambitions and will play a lead role in developing their product offering.

The Product Specialist will work to develop the Product portfolio and drive its success - Excelent package includes:

Product Manager - Key skills & Experience

  • Significant experience within financial services (critical)
  • Understanding of mortgage products and their features gained through working for a lender
  • Understanding of savers products and their features gained through working for a lender (desirable)
  • Proven experience growing a specialist mortgage book for a lender (desirable)
  • Great understanding of the specialist mortgage market and experience in the development of new products and bringing these to market
  • Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
  • Commercial outlook, with a passion for delivering positive customer outcomes.
  • Ambition with a desire to grow and develop in your career.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Good organisational skills, self motivated with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good initiative with the ability to be bold and think outside the box.
  • Strong numerical skillset: ability to understand the commercial impact of repricing our mortgage products and to track and analyse their performance in the market.

Product Manager - Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development an effective product strategy through understanding trends of the marketplace
  • Support the development of market share through the design and launch of newproducts
  • Develop, deliver and monitor products to ensure the range meets customerneeds
  • To take responsibility for the development and communication of the lenders product range to ensure that the lender achieves its share of the market and the desired profitability levels of the lender's products and/or services, benchmarking these against ourcompetitors.
  • To prepare product related MI and activity reports for the Product Committee, Executive team and Board of Directors.
  • To drive forward proposals from concept right through to delivery.
