Finance Business Partner (Hybrid Role) Global Travel Client
Due to growth, we are recruiting for a TWO ROLES as Finance Business Partner for a large global travel client for a Finance Business Partner, One in London and one in Preston. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior management to understand current financial performance, create detailed forecasts, and provide insightful analysis to improve financial decision-making and cost control. You will take the lead in the budgeting and forecasting process, delivering complex financial models that ensure accurate, timely plans and performance monitoring. You will also raise key opportunities and risks to help achieve EBITDA targets.
Finance Business Partner Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of EBITDA targets, identifying opportunities and risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
- Lead and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
- Monitor and communicate performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Support ad-hoc analysis and evaluate business initiatives to drive incremental sales and profitability.
- Use your analytical skills to assess the commercial viability of business initiatives and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders to drive profitability and support decision-making.
- Contribute to the weekly trading forum with commercial insights, highlighting opportunities and risks, and providing relevant challenges to other stakeholders.
- Lead data-driven decision-making initiatives through reliable business data analytics and reporting.
- Regularly review operational processes for efficiency, considering their impact on other areas of the business and the customer journey.
Finance Business Partner Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Strong Budgeting and Forecasting experience
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to visualise opportunities and improve business processes.
- Commercially astute, able to identify opportunities to enhance revenue and profitability.
- A numerate, analytical thinker, self-motivated, and solution-oriented with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Proficient in reporting, presentation, influencing, and negotiation.
- Proven track record in people management.
- Adaptable and innovative.
Working Arrangement:
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days per week in Preston and 2 days working remotely.
