About the Role
As a Quantity Surveyor working on capital projects, you will manage the financial and contractual aspects of large infrastructure projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project costs and budgets, ensuring accurate cost estimation and financial control
- Prepare and review contract documents, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure effective cost management
- Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements in relation to project contracts and finances
What we are looking for:
- A qualification in Quantity Surveying or an Engineering discipline.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the utilities or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, contract administration, and financial reporting.
- Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
