Business Development Manager - Transport- Duties
- Develop and grow full load sales
- Research and identify new business opportunities and convert them into trading partners.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a focus on consistent business growth.
- Leverage professional networks to generate leads and secure new business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Commercial teams to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
- Data-Driven Approach: Conduct rate analyses, review cost structures, and recommend strategies to maximize profitability.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term sales strategies and market expansion plans.
Business Development Manager - Transport- Requirements
- A strong background in Transport & Haulage and sales with a record of delivering results.
- Experience managing sales pipelines, exceeding revenue targets, and closing major deals.
- Solid understanding of the Transport market and full load operations.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders and clients.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office tools.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust working hours to meet business needs.
- Confident, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
