We're seeking an enthusiastic and skilled French Teacher to join our Preston team, where you'll motivate and guide KS3 and KS4 students. Enjoy a competitive daily rate ranging from £155 to £230, tailored to your experience, qualifications, and teaching expertise.

In this role, you'll lead students on an immersive journey into the French language and culture, making lessons both interactive and impactful. You'll be responsible for helping students build strong language skills, from basic conversation to exam preparation, while promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management

Personal Attributes:

  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed
