As a PE teacher, you'll be inspiring and motivating students to lead active and healthy lifestyles. You'll have the chance to deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils' physical skills, and foster a love for sports and fitness.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Encourage student participation and teamwork in a range of sports and physical activities
- Monitor and support the development of students' physical abilities and fitness levels
- Maintain a safe and inclusive environment during lessons and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to support the school's wider ethos and goals
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Specialism in Secondary Physical Education (PE)
- Previous experience teaching PE at the secondary level
- A proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
