We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and talented English teacher to join our team in Preston! Your dedication and skills will be essential in inspiring and guiding our KS3 and KS4 students. In return, you'll receive a rewarding daily rate between £155 and £230, reflecting your experience, qualifications, and teaching excellence.
In this role, you will be helping students develop their language, literature, and critical thinking skills. It will also involve crafting dynamic lesson plans that incorporate diverse texts and creative writing assignments while encouraging students to explore their thoughts and ideas. You will create a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes active participation and collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
- Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
- Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
- Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
- Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
- Set homework and mark promptly
- Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Strong subject knowledge
- Punctual and reliable

Personal Attributes:
