A mainstream school in Preston is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to support small groups within Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help re-engage students back into mainstream classrooms and support them in achieving their full potential across core subjects.
The school welcomes applications from mainstream teachers (primary or secondary) who are looking for a new challenge, as well as those with experience in supporting students with additional needs. While specific SEN qualifications are not required, a strong commitment to helping students succeed and reach their potential is essential.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will work with small groups of students across KS3 and KS4, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. The primary aim is to re-engage students with their learning, building their confidence and skills to help them reintegrate into mainstream classrooms and achieve their best in their subject area.

Experience in teaching primary or secondary education, with the ability to adapt lessons for a range of learning needs.

A creative and flexible approach to teaching, using engaging and practical strategies to support student progress.

Strong teamwork skills, working closely with LSAs, other teachers, and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Early Career Teachers with an interest in supporting students in this setting are also encouraged to apply, with a structured support programme available.
