A mainstream school in Preston is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher to support small groups within Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to help re-engage students back into mainstream classrooms and support them in achieving their full potential across core subjects.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work with small groups of students across KS3 and KS4, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science. The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A genuine passion for supporting students and helping them achieve their potential.

  • Experience in teaching primary or secondary education, with the ability to adapt lessons for a range of learning needs.

  • A creative and flexible approach to teaching, using engaging and practical strategies to support student progress.

  • Strong teamwork skills, working closely with LSAs, other teachers, and school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

  • Early Career Teachers with an interest in supporting students in this setting are also encouraged to apply, with a structured support programme available.

  • A teacher with the ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of students within small groups.

  • Someone who enjoys using interactive and engaging teaching strategies to re-engage students with learning.

  • A team player who will collaborate with LSAs, HLTAs, and the wider school team to support student progress.

  • A teacher with or without specific SEN qualification's welcome, all passionate educators!
