Post: Team Leader

• Salary: 31,000 to 36,000
• Shift times: 8am to 8pm - (Some Sleep -ins maybe required)
• Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week
• Specializing in Children and Young Adults

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of support workers, delegating tasks.
• Monitor children's health and well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to children, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversation.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for children, including ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly sanitized and stored.
• Collaborate with other members of the support team to develop and implement support plans that meet the individual needs of each child.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a children home is required.
• NVQL3 in health and social care certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team of support workers effectively.
• Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work shifts 12-hour shifts, alternate weekends, and holidays.
