  • Extensive experience of working with young people, in education, and individuals with SEND/Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
  • Extensive experience of providing additional support in a learning environment for learners with an Education Health and Care Plan in place, both High Needs and non-High Needs.
  • In-depth understanding of the specific issues relating to the education of young people and adults who have learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory, physical impairments or other specific learning difficulties.
  • Proactive participation in SEND related meetings and person-centred reviews.
  • Experience using assistive technology and specialist software used in supporting learners with SEND.
  • Successfully supporting a culture of team work within a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
