Learning Support Assistant; Preston (working with animals inc horses)ASAPFull and part timeFrom £15 per hourRequirements;
- Extensive experience of working with young people, in education, and individuals with SEND/Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
- Extensive experience of providing additional support in a learning environment for learners with an Education Health and Care Plan in place, both High Needs and non-High Needs.
- In-depth understanding of the specific issues relating to the education of young people and adults who have learning difficulties/disabilities, sensory, physical impairments or other specific learning difficulties.
- Proactive participation in SEND related meetings and person-centred reviews.
- Experience using assistive technology and specialist software used in supporting learners with SEND.
- Successfully supporting a culture of team work within a multi-disciplinary environment.
- DBS on the update service or the willingness to apply for one.
