SEN Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant to support a Year 3 pupil 1-1 at a lovely school near to Preston. You will be required to create a positive, supportive learning environment and support children with SEN.

A level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification would be highly desired.

Location: Preston

Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
Start date: Jan 2025
End date: Ongoing

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential
Previous experience supporting children with SEN
Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional references
