SEN Teaching Assistant:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in SEN to support KS2 pupils at a lovely school near to Preston.

Position Details:

  • Location- Preston
  • Position- SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Hours- 8:20am-3:20pm
  • Type of work- Temporary
  • Full time/part time- Full time only
  • Minimum rate of pay- £95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date- Jan 2025
  • End date- Ongoing

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant experience in a school or similar setting.
  • Experience of working with children and young people with special educational needs and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of effectively and positively managing behaviour.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable but training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
