SEN Teaching Assistant - Preston:

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced teaching assistants to join an excellent school in Preston. You will be supporting children with complex needs on a 1-1 basis.

This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible with a temp-perm contract available for the right candidate.

The Role:

Preparing learning resources and activities that are individualised to each pupil
Working alongside other members of staff to monitor progress of the students
Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups

Minimum Rate of Pay: 100 per day, depending on experience

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Previous experience supporting SEN in a school setting is essential
Any experience of Makaton, Pecs or Sensory Support is highly desired

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
