SEN TA - Preston:

Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our specialist provisions near to Preston. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible, likely to be temp to perm.

The Role:

Working closely with other members of staff to monitor progress and promote a positive learning environment
Providing tailored support to individual pupils based on individual needs
Preparing learning resources and activities
Leading lessons 1-1 where needed

Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri
Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
Start date: ASAP
End date: Ongoing, Long-Term

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

Previous experience supporting ASD is essential for this position
Team Teach qualification is highly desired
Sensory support is required for this role
Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Provide two professional references.
