SEN TA - Preston:

Prospero teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join one of our specialist provisions near to Preston. This is a full time position to start as soon as possible, likely to be temp to perm.

The Role:

  • Working closely with other members of staff to monitor progress and promote a positive learning environment
  • Providing tailored support to individual pupils based on individual needs
  • Preparing learning resources and activities
  • Leading lessons 1-1 where needed

Position Details:

  • Hours: 8:30am-4pm, Mon-Fri
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £95 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing, Long-Term

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience supporting ASD is essential for this position
  • Team Teach qualification is highly desired
  • Sensory support is required for this role
  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
