Description
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will
- Oversee, manage, and support a team to build further engage, capability, and performance
- Review the overall inbound supply chain and logistics strategy and operations, highlighting opportunities. The emphasis will be on the production plan / master schedule to ensure material flow and inventory levels are optimised
- Plan, implement and monitor the company's supply chain performance in order to ensure process efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and the Customers to ensure the supply chain is delivering what it actually needed
- Manage and build partnerships with suppliers, understanding capacity, lead-times, and risk
- Maintain and build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure the ERP system, SAP , is utilised effectively, and drives the right actions / behaviours
- Implement new operational strategies as the procurement and supply chain landscape evolves.
Profile
A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:
- A strong background in the industrial / manufacturing industry in a regulated environment
- As well as being a proven leader, be able to demonstrate a broad supply chain knowledge, and have production planning as a core skill set
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes and vendor management.
- Ideally proficiency in using SAP
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
