Project Manager – Civil Engineering
Our client, a well-established and highly reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of £100 million, is seeking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join their civil engineering team on a permanent basis.
This role will be based on an infrastructure project in East Lothian, where you will play a key role in delivering a large, long-term framework. The company fosters a supportive and collaborative working environment, encouraging creativity and innovation to deliver high-quality solutions for their clients. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Due to the seniority and level of responsibility in this role, proven experience in managing multiple civil engineering projects is essential.
Key Responsibilities:- Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ) compliance
- Liaising with existing and prospective clients
- Budget management
- Management of site personnel
- Oversight of commercial aspects
- Preparation of reports and maintenance of project records
- Effective communication and engagement with the general public
- Degree or HNC qualification in a relevant civil engineering discipline
- Demonstrable experience in managing a variety of civil engineering projects
- Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to oversee and take responsibility for all site activities
- Previous experience in infrastructure projects would be advantageous
- Proactive and effective communicator
- Full UK driving licence
