Flight Systems Engineer
Location: Northumberland – Hybrid and flexible working arrangements are available.Â
As a Flight Systems Engineer you will be:-
- Producing and issuing systems engineering data to meet project requirements, ensuring quality, cost, and schedule adherence
- Collaborating with other engineering and project areas to develop comprehensive solutions
- Performing tasks depending on the project lifecycle phase, including requirements development, system design, integration, qualification, and testing
- Writing specifications, reports, and proposals
- Implementing best practice systems lifecycle processes for new systems development
- Supporting delivered systems and resolving any issues with customers
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant STEM subject (e.g., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering/Physics/Maths/Science)
- Knowledge of the systems engineering lifecycle and experience applying systems engineering practices
- Demonstrated experience in Mechanical, Propulsion, Electrical, Avionics, or Fluid Systems Engineering, preferably within aerospace
- Ability to research system design data and solve complex problems
