Accounts Assistant PermanentBased in Pulborough (hybrid - 2 days in the office)£24,000 - £27,000 per annum plus further benefits and study support if needed

Tony Alan Recruitment currently has an exciting job opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a well known business in the Pulborough area on a permanent basis. You will be working in a large finance team, working with some exceptional individuals supporting the transactional work within the accounts department.

This is a new role arising from the growth and restructure in the business.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuring invoices are raised/posted accurately and in a timely manner
  • Obtaining authorisation from the appropriate person for all purchase invoices
  • Coding & post invoices on a timely basis
  • Reconcile invoices to statement for weekly and monthly payment runs
  • Cashiering responsibilities (banking, petty cash)
  • Assist the teams by resolving any accounting queries

Key requirements:

  • Experience of purchase and sales ledger
  • Good understanding and use of Excel on a daily basis
