Description

As a key player in the team, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding market presence, forging strong relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales in the commercial, industrial, and smart building sectors. You'll work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and end-users to deliver cutting-edge lighting control solutions that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and user experience.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities within the lighting controls sector
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key industry professionals
  • Promoting our innovative solutions to consultants, specifiers, and contractors
  • Managing the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to contract closure
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery

Profile

The successful Business Development Manager will:-

  • Have proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in lighting controls, smart buildings, or related technologies
  • Possess a strong network within the construction, M&E, or building automation industries
  • Be able to develop strategic sales plans and meet ambitious targets
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Be a proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for innovation
  • Be comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Be able to travel flexibly on a national scale
