We are approaching the companies 20th anniversary and have ambitious plans to build upon our success to date.

Our financial services team have never been busier, and we need to find a special person to join us. The role would suit someone who is organised, tenacious, IT literate and able to take initiative when running their own projects.

The Role

Working closely with all members of the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Researching the UK financial services market using the internet, and by contacting target companies to find out information.
  • Collating research and accurately entering information onto the database.
  • Mapping companies and individuals so that we can provide our clients with up-to-date competitive data.
  • Ongoing monitoring and updating of the database and wider CRM systems.
  • Regular review of industry news for relevant information and/or data.
  • Managing timescales and working to deadlines.
  • You will also be expected to get involved in ad hoc assignments as befitting of a small office environment.

Person Specification (This is an unusual role as it involves a hybrid set of skills.)

Essential:

  • Motivated and organised.
  • Confident liaising on the phone.
  • Able to prioritise and manage projects.
  • Competent across Microsoft Offices products.
  • Be diligent and have the ability to quickly understand the team ethos and contribute.
  • The ambitious plans and the nature of the job will require somebody who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and who possesses a 'can do’ attitude.
  • The business is continually evolving, so we need quality individuals to help achieve our goals.

Desirable:

  • A background in recruitment, administration or research.
  • Experience of working within the financial services industry

This position would suit either a full time or part time applicant. Part time applicants would be expected to work at least 15 hours a week; however we can be flexible on exact dates and hours of work. A competitive hourly rate will be paid, with the opportunity to earn a generous monthly bonus as a result of your efforts.
