Are you a HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor looking for your next challenge? If so, our client is seeking a HR Manager to join their team in Sussex.

As the HR Manager, you will serve as a trusted business partner, supporting key stakeholders in meeting their people needs. Your role will involve leading the annual employee engagement survey and collaborating with the Head of HR on strategic projects and change management initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build effective relationships with people managers, providing them with advice and coaching to enhance their capabilities in managing and developing their teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support on employment-related questions, including benefits, payroll, recruitment, policies and compliance.
  • Analyse employee engagement survey data and present key trends to the business, partnering with people managers on action plans.
  • Assist people managers during the annual performance review cycle.
  • Manage the HRIS system and serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Stay updated on employment law changes and ensure HR policies and procedures are compliant.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead HR-related projects.

Experience required:

  • Collaborative style with the ability to influence and think creatively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data to propose solutions.
  • CIPD Level 5 or relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law.
