Job Role: Forecast Manager - HarvestSalary: CompetitiveLocation: West SussexThis is an exciting opportunity for a Harvest Forecast Manager to join a leading produce company based in West Sussex. The company works closely with industry leading customers, supplying high quality product all year round. You will be primarily tasked with overseeing Yield forecast across short-term/medium-term/long-term and crop profiling using current and historical data. You'll also support the harvest management teams to create solution to challenges, ensuring productivity and availability is met. Working collaboratively with Growers and wider functions including the Commercial team to present key data, this role is critical to business success.Key Duties include:路 Understand the technical challenges for specific crops and any relevant quality issues路 Organise the logistics of the harvest from weekly forecasts to daily schedules路 Acquire a good understanding of all harvest cost structures, including budgets and targets路 Monitor the quality of the product, and enforce quality control路 Communicate with external AI platforms The Ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within produce growing operation, with a strong understanding of forecasting and crop availability with the ability to utilise data and engage effectively with all stakeholders.
