About the Role:
Knightwood are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join our client, a reputable developer with a project in West Sussex. This project features 355 traditionally built homes, and a new phase is set to start early next year. As the Site Manager, you will work closely under the Project Manager, overseeing the site operations and driving the project to successful completion.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Train and mentor site teams, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of materials, ensuring timely delivery and optimal usage.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to drive the overall program and resolve any site issues.


Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in residential construction, preferably with traditional builds.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS) are essential.
